Heythrop Zoo is set at a private location in the beautiful Cotswolds. We are only open by appointment only. We are not open to the public like a normal zoo. Our mission is to educate on animal welfare and behaviour, advance animal training standards worldwide and inspire the next generation to be the guardians of the wonderful animals and nature on our planet. As we are not open to the general public on a day-to-day basis, we are able to offer you exclusive and unforgettable animal experiences by appointment only.

At Heythrop Zoological Gardens, we want to give you the opportunity to get even closer to our wonderful animals by joining our animal adoption community. By becoming an Adoptive Parent at Heythrop Zoo, you will help towards the health, welfare and general day to day care of the animal. You’ll also be the first to know about inspiring days out!

Within your Adoption Package for just £35.00, you will receive the following:

• Certificate of Adoption

• Fact sheet on your animal

• A photo of your animal

• A car window sticker

• A keyring

• A money off voucher for an Animal Encounter here at Heythrop Zoo (t & c's apply, subject to availability)

The cost of each Adoption is £35.00 for a year's adoption. There is no recurring annual subscription, this is a one off purchase. If you wish to continue past the year, please get in touch at the end of your adoption.
